About SilkHat

SilkHat is a personal AI assistant platform built by WBC Works LLC, a company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The assistant at SilkHat's core is Friday — the last assistant you'll ever need.

Why we're building it

A lot of people tried AI assistants expecting them to do things — book the trip, find the part, sort out the comparison — and found tools that mostly talk. Friday is our answer to that gap. She's built to be a doer: you tell her what you're trying to get done, and she does the legwork and hands you something you can act on.

What we believe

• Your time is the scarce thing. Most decisions don't deserve twenty tabs and an afternoon. Good tools give you that time back.
• Honest beats impressive. We'd rather tell you a product is "fine, buy it, move on" than dress up a recommendation we don't believe.
• Build it actually good. Not good-enough, not good-for-a-startup. Actually good — the kind that makes you wonder why nobody built it sooner.

Where we are

Friday is in private early access while we get the core experience right. The guides on this site are public and free, and they reflect the same approach: practical, specific, no filler.
